Ingredients:
- ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 ½ tablespoons (22ml) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) celery seed
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
- ⅛ teaspoon (0.6ml) black pepper
Instructions:
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and the dressing is smooth.
- Taste the coleslaw dressing and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more sugar for a sweeter dressing, more vinegar for a tangier dressing, or more salt and pepper to taste.
- For best results, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
- Toss with shredded cabbage, carrots, and any other coleslaw veggies you fancy. Enjoy the coleslaw dressing!
