Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons (22ml) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) celery seed
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon (0.6ml) black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
  2. Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and the dressing is smooth.
  3. Taste the coleslaw dressing and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more sugar for a sweeter dressing, more vinegar for a tangier dressing, or more salt and pepper to taste.
  4. For best results, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
  5. Toss with shredded cabbage, carrots, and any other coleslaw veggies you fancy. Enjoy the coleslaw dressing!
