Ingredients:
- 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry jello (85 g)
- 1 cup boiling water (240 ml)
- 1 cup cold water (240 ml)
- 1/2 cup apple juice (120 ml)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained (100 g)
- 1 large apple, diced (approximately 200 g)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
- Whipped cream (to taste)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine boiling water and jello powder. Stir until fully dissolved. Add cold water and apple juice; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine diced apples, fresh cranberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat the fruit evenly and let sit for a few minutes to release juices.
- Place the fruit mixture evenly in the bottom of the glass dish. Carefully pour the jello mixture over the fruit, ensuring even coverage.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes, or until set.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve with whipped cream and a mint garnish if desired.
