Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry jello (85 g)
  • 1 cup boiling water (240 ml)
  • 1 cup cold water (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup apple juice (120 ml)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained (100 g)
  • 1 large apple, diced (approximately 200 g)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • Whipped cream (to taste)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine boiling water and jello powder. Stir until fully dissolved. Add cold water and apple juice; mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine diced apples, fresh cranberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat the fruit evenly and let sit for a few minutes to release juices.
  3. Place the fruit mixture evenly in the bottom of the glass dish. Carefully pour the jello mixture over the fruit, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes, or until set.
  5. Once set, cut into squares and serve with whipped cream and a mint garnish if desired.
