Instructions:
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to ensure the marinade adheres.
- In a bowl or Ziploc bag, whisk together the oil, vinegar, sugar, and spices. Add the chicken, ensuring every inch is coated evenly.
- Let the chicken marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the chicken on the grates and sear for 5–7 minutes per side, allowing the meat to release naturally from the grate.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure breasts reach 160°F (71°C) or thighs reach 175°F (79°C).
- Transfer meat to a plate and tent loosely with foil, resting for 5–10 minutes before serving.
