Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 ripe banana (approximately 120g), peeled and sliced
- 1 cup (240ml) low-fat yogurt (plain or strawberry-flavored)
- ½ cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy alternative)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Additional sliced strawberries for garnish
- A few banana slices for garnish
- Edible flowers or sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions:
- Hull and halve the strawberries and peel and slice the banana.
- In the blender, combine strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or syrup, then blend again briefly to mix.
- Pour the smoothie into serving glasses and garnish with additional strawberry slices, banana slices, and optional edible flowers or sprinkles.
