Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp (30g) yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp (15g) sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp (5g) white vinegar
- 1 tsp (5g) paprika
- 1/8 tsp (0.5g) garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp (0.5g) onion powder
- 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef
- 1 pack (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
- 6 slices (110g) American cheese
- 1/4 cup (40g) finely diced white onion
- 1 cup (30g) shredded iceberg lettuce
- 12 dill pickle slices
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp (1g) garlic powder
- 1 tbsp (8g) sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Combine mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Stir until velvety and refrigerate.
- Press the ground beef into a flat rectangle the size of the rolls in a hot skillet. Sear over medium-high heat until a deep brown crust forms, flip, cook through, and remove from heat.
- Slice the slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the seared beef over the rolls, followed by American cheese, diced onions, and pickle slices.
- Place the top bun slab onto the sliders. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and buns are mahogany-colored.
- Add shredded iceberg lettuce and drizzle with the special sauce after baking.
