Ingredients:
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or preferred milk)
- 1 scoop (approx. 25g) Vanilla Protein Powder (Whey or Plant-Based)
- 1 medium Frozen Banana (sliced)
- 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1/4 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (2% or full-fat)
- 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds or Flax Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Optional Sweetener (Maple Syrup or Honey, to taste)
Instructions:
- Pour the almond milk into the blender pitcher.
- Add the protein powder, Greek yogurt, and chia/flax seeds directly on top of the liquid.
- Add the frozen banana slices and frozen blueberries last, layering them on top of the other ingredients.
- Secure the lid. Start blending on a low setting to break down the frozen items, then gradually increase the speed to high.
- Blend continuously until completely smooth and uniform, pausing to scrape down the sides if necessary.
- Taste for sweetness. If needed, add the optional maple syrup or honey and blend for five seconds to incorporate.
- Serve immediately by pouring into a tall glass.
