Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or preferred milk)
  • 1 scoop (approx. 25g) Vanilla Protein Powder (Whey or Plant-Based)
  • 1 medium Frozen Banana (sliced)
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (2% or full-fat)
  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds or Flax Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Optional Sweetener (Maple Syrup or Honey, to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Pour the almond milk into the blender pitcher.
  2. Add the protein powder, Greek yogurt, and chia/flax seeds directly on top of the liquid.
  3. Add the frozen banana slices and frozen blueberries last, layering them on top of the other ingredients.
  4. Secure the lid. Start blending on a low setting to break down the frozen items, then gradually increase the speed to high.
  5. Blend continuously until completely smooth and uniform, pausing to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  6. Taste for sweetness. If needed, add the optional maple syrup or honey and blend for five seconds to incorporate.
  7. Serve immediately by pouring into a tall glass.
