Ingredients:
- 4 large Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples (approx. 900g), cored and sliced into 1/4-inch wedges
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the sliced apples with lemon juice in a large bowl to prevent oxidation.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the apples and toss gently until every slice is fully coated.
- Spread the apples in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until apples are tender and the syrup has thickened into a glaze.
