Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 10-15 minutes or until slightly doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal portions.
  7. Roll each portion into a mini pizza shape using a rolling pin.
  8. Transfer the mini pizzas to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each mini pizza.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
  11. Use assorted toppings to create fun and spooky shapes.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  13. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
