Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Oreos until evenly distributed.
- Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to enhance flavors and improve cookie texture.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
