Ingredients:
- 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 1 pound / 450g total), scrubbed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25g)
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (1.25g)
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon paprika (1.25g)
Instructions:
- Wash, peel (optional), and cut the sweet potatoes into uniform 1-inch cubes.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices. Ensure the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the sweet potato cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring there's some space between the pieces for even cooking. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer's capacity.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork and slightly caramelized on the edges.
- Remove the sweet potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately.
