Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp High-quality Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Creamy Plant-Based Milk (Oat or Cashew recommended)
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Vegan Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder, maple syrup, sea salt, cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of the plant milk. Whisk vigorously until a thick, smooth slurry/paste forms without lumps.
  2. Slowly pour in the remaining plant milk while whisking constantly. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat.
  3. Heat the mixture, whisking in a figure-eight motion, until the liquid begins to steam and small bubbles form around the edges (approximately 160°F). Do not let it reach a rolling boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and vegan chocolate chips. Whisk one final time until the chips are completely melted and a light froth forms on the surface.
